we kindly remind you to bring your passport and arrive at the Center at least ten minutes prior to your appointment. It will take us a few minutes to set up your record.

Our center is recognized by many international insurers. We are contracted by these insurers to provide DIRECT BILLING as a service to their clients. If you require DIRECT BILLING service, please bring with you your insurance fine prints. This document will allow our Claims Department to determine your level of coverage.

Before the health check-up, please note that:

• For examination purposes, we ask that you refrain from eating or drinking for at least 8hrs prior to your medical check-up. Eat only a light meal the evening before and drink nothing but water until you have the blood test (does not apply to children)

•Please continue your regular daily medications.

•For ultrasound studies, a full bladder is required.

•It would be great if you can bring a small fresh stool specimen(within 4 hours) with you (you may store the specimen in a zip-block bag). You may also collect stool specimen in the clinic.

•No physical should be scheduled for women during menstruation.

Eur Am medical center is located in the heart of the Zhujiang New City, the business and financial center of Guangzhou.  The clinic is in the ground floor of the Ocean Pearl building, at 19 Hua Li Road (珠江新城华利路19号).  In the neighborhood there are famous eateries such as Starbucks, Papa Johns pizzeria and Subway.

Most patients are driven to our center by their own vehicle.  Our center is facing a parking lot.  So you can park your car and step right into the medical center.  We also have disability ramps for wheel chairs and baby push chairs.  You can also come by Metro.  Take Line 3 or Line 5, and come to Zhujiang New City (地铁三号线，或五号线，珠江新城站).  Take the B1 exit and turn right to walk along Huali Road.  You will walk pass a Starbucks on your left and café Lavazza on your right.  Keep walking and we are two blocks away on the right.

Yes, ALL of our primary care physicians are either trained in Australia, in the US, or had worked in an international medical assistance company before joining the Eur Am Medical Center.  All doctors speak English with high fluency.

Our Center opens EVERYDAY, from Monday to Sunday.  During weekdays the clinic hours are from 8am – 8pm, on Saturdays and Sundays the clinic hours are from 9am – 6pm.  Appointments can be scheduled online, email to reception@eurammedicalcenter.com; or by phone (020) 3758 5238.  Each appointment is scheduled into a 20 minutes block (standard consultation).  Long consultations are often necessary for complex issues (30 minutes). 

Yes, after hour surcharge applies on services provided on public holidays, Saturdays afternoon and Sundays.  Our receptionists can answer your specific question when appointments are scheduled.

YES, we accept ALL credit cards.  We are also authorized by many world-wide insurers to offer direct billing.  Please consult the list of our direct billing partners.

ALL of our primary care physicians have our individual e-mail box.  We welcome questions sent to doctor's mail box as it is a great way for time-efficient communication.  Of course, you can also leave a phone message to our reception and we are committed to answer your questions on the same day.
